The Hackamajig is one of the items found in Deathloop. It is used to hack antennas, radios and electronic devices.

Colt Vahn

Hackamajig is a device, made by Colt Vahn prior to the Loop. It is picked up manually during The Longest Day and is automatically equipped thereafter. Its design follows after a combination of a mirrored Kuongsido Mova 3, a handmade hacking device.

It also serves as a way of communication between Julianna Blake and Colt Vahn through the equipped radio antenna. As Julianna states it, the radio wave that is attached to Hackamajig cannot be turned off, since it's a "safety feature"^[1].

Gameplay

Colt can use Hackamajig to hack remote control Antennas, Sensors, Turrets, Field Nullifiers, Radio Boxes, Phone Booths, Jukeboxes and wearable Radio Devices of Eternalist Scouts and Fia Zborowska.

If Mine Own trinket is equipped, Lasermines and Land Mines can also be hacked with Hackamajig.

If Remote Overload trinket is equipped, Hackamajig can remotely detonate everything it hacks.

• Target device and hold L1.
• Trigger hacked device: Aim at hacked object and use L1.

PC

• Target device and hold Middle Mouse.
• Trigger hacked device: Aim at hacked object and use Middle Mouse.

Location

It is on a lamp lit makeshift pedestal, on a table beside a locked door with a hackable antenna within Colt's Tunnels.

Notes

• Equipping the Hackamajig during the second Loop provides Colt with the Welcome to Blackreef note and the door code to enter the Blackreef Tunnel system.

Trivia

• The Hackamajig model was made by Maxime Goichot, concepted by Aimé Jalon. The narrative design of the Hackamajig came from Bennett Smith.^[2]
